Wall Iron Ons

      Another Pinterest gem.
Like a lot of people out there we are renting and when you rent you are stuck with plain, boring, white walls. Yes, you can hang pictures, but those leave holes in the wall that you have to repair when you move. I was so exited when I found this next fun project. You can also find it here: http://thisthriftyhouse.blogspot.com This woman was a genius!

Right now we are living in a two bedroom condo and we have two children of two different genders sharing the second bedroom. So when I found out that iron fun pictures onto they're walls I was ecstatic!
The only thing I had to buy was the heat 'n bond. It was very cheap. $3 for a yard and a yard goes a long way.
I Googled clip art images in the theme that I wanted.
I then enlarged the image and traced it onto parchment paper. Parchment paper is fantastic for tracing onto. It's not waxy and it's transparent.
I have a bunch of scrap fabric which came in really handy for this project. This is when I whipped out my heat 'n bond. I used my parchment pattern to cut out my shaped onto the heat 'n bond and fabric.
I ironed them together to be sure nothing would come apart.
And I ironed my owls and monsters on the walls.
Owls on my daughter's side of the room...
and monsters and my son's side.

This has been a fun and cheap project. I plan on making more owls and monsters to reach across each wall, but for now three is cute and adds color and character to their room with out damaging the walls.
This is a Trisha tried and true!
